I have purchased (and savored!) these bars several times. I check periodically to see if they are available. I am disappointed each time I check because instead of the ability to order I get a message saying they are not currently available and it is not known when (and I am afraid it might mean "or if") they will be available again.
I love the combination of chocolate and peppermint. I REALLY love the way Pure Protein bars combined them! The chocolate brownie/cake part was (sigh) moist and chewy. The peppermint part was (sniffle and sigh) so very much like peppermint frosting...with little bits of peppermint candy mixed in.
I don't want to have to wait for Christmas time, but I will take that over never being able to experience them again. But really, BRING THEM BACK!!!!!

Pure Protein Peppermint Bark Bar
Mint and chocolate is a year-round flavor combination for cookies, candy, etc. but during the holidays peppermint bark appears which is usually a half-white chocolate, half-chocolate candy or cookie bar with crushed peppermint candy sprinkled over the top. I consume Pure Protein bars regularly and they taste fine but the focus is on the protein component. So, with that in mind, this protein bar has the look of a peppermint bark confection and the minty chocolate taste but is a healthier alternative. Each bar is 180 calories, 19 grams of protein, 4 grams of fat (3 saturated), 1 gram fiber, 21 grams carbohydrate, 11 grams sugar alcohol and 3 grams sugar. Note, some people have sensitivities to sugar alcohol. My personal experience has in limited quantities been trouble free. The product also contains sucralose (Splenda) and I usually dislike it because it has an aftertaste but I did not notice that effect in this bar. Also, there is soy used in the product along with milk, peanut and tree nut butters.
