THE SCIENCE BEHIND MINUSCAL CHOLEVE EFFICACY Choleve was originally developed to reduce LDL Cholesterol. While it was found to be effective in reducing cholesterol, an additional benefit recorded in the participants was weight loss. The trial monitored 240 total participants with 120 taking Choleve and 120 taking a placebo. After 8 weeks, 55% of those taking Choleve lost weight ranging from 1-7 lbs. To corroborate these results, Kansas University, consistently one of the top five research universities for animal studies, conducted a comparative study between Choleve and Orlistat, the leading prescription strength weight loss medication. Orlistat is clinically proven to reduce fat absorption by 25%. In this animal study, Orlistat averaged a reduction in fat absorption of 25% while Choleve averaged 12%.** By extrapolation, since the Orlistat figures compare accurately to their clinical figures, we can say with confidence that Choleve can reduce fat absorption by an average of 12%. In addition, Orlistat and its over-the-counter option, Alli, are known to have many unpleasant side effects.None of these side effects have been observed with Choleve either in the original clinical study or the animal study. In addition, while the US FDA considers substances derived from tea (such as Choleve) to be Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS), Choleve has also received GRAS approval through an independent panel of experts. Choleve starts working as soon as it is in your system. It works by inhibiting the break down of fat molecules by enzymes in the small intestine so that a percentage of the fat passes through undigested. Choleve passes through your system at the same rate as other foods (between 40-60 hours).
